The best way to describe today was productive. The goal was to take Grandma brazzaire shopping. Embarrassing? Yes!, but it had to be done. I volunteered to be the go-getter, rather than be in the dressing room. After about a half a dozen try-ons, eureka, we had a winner! Now I know what to look forward to when my mom gets old, ha! We also went and had lunch at a Chinese buffet. The only pictures I took today were by request of Grandma. She gets distracted easily (now I know where I get it from). At the restaurant, she was fascinated by a large wooden statue of a dragon and 2 tigers. She asked me to take a picture of it, so I did.
For dinner, Barb, the next door neighbor, made meatloaf for Bruce's birthday. Going along with the fact that he saw the first Star Wars 26 times in the theater, we bought him a star wars themed card. The front said, "A long, long time ago" and the inside said "you were born." It also played the Star Wars theme song.
Tomorrow, we're off to the windy city of Chicago for 2 days!
